Console repair in Vilnius usually starts with a situation where the console no longer turns on, shows a black screen or makes a loud noise. The cause may be a cooler clogged with dust, a worn-out port or a motherboard fault, and from the outside you often cannot tell them apart.

That is why at our Vilnius service point in Žirmūnai we first carry out initial diagnostics for 10 €, and only then name the fault and the repair price. We work with PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch consoles and their controllers. You can come on any working day, no appointment needed.

How to bring your console to the Žirmūnai service point

The service point is located in Žirmūnai, in the New small “Rimi” store next to McDonald’s. Look for the “elMeistrai” sign. You will find the exact address and a map in the card above.

We work on weekdays, Mon–Fri 9:00–18:00, and the service point is closed at weekends. The service point is open until 18:00.

We recommend transporting the console closed in its original box or wrapped in soft fabric. Shaking during transport is not good for the hard drive and the optical drive.

Before you come, remember when the fault appeared: after a fall, overheating, a system update or for no apparent reason at all. Such a detail shortens the technician’s search.

What happens when you leave your console for repair

First, the technician carries out initial diagnostics, which cost 10 €. After that, we tell you what is broken and how much the repair will cost. We start work only once you have agreed on the price.

Original parts are used for the repair, and a warranty is provided for the work carried out. If the console is insured or a document must be submitted to another institution, a certificate can be issued, so please mention this right away.

How long the repair takes depends on the fault and the model. Replacing a controller stick is simpler than repairing a motherboard, so the technician can estimate a specific time frame only after diagnostics.

When a console in Vilnius is worth repairing and when cleaning is enough

If the console is getting noisier, heating up and sometimes switching off, it is usually enough to clean out the dust and replace the thermal paste. This is one of the cheaper services: according to the price list, it starts from 30 €. If you do nothing for a long time, overheating can damage the chips, and then the repair becomes more expensive.

Controller stick “drift” is also usually fixed inexpensively: replacing an analog stick starts from 20 €.

More complex faults, such as a console that does not turn on at all or shows no picture, may lie in the power circuit or the motherboard. If the console smells of burning, sparks or has been doused with liquid, immediately unplug the power cable and do not try to turn it on again. Do not try to open the console.
