How to find the console service point in „Arena”

When you arrive, park in the shopping centre car park and use the entrance closer to „Akropolis”. The service point is next to the KIKA and JYSK stores.

We work Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 18:00, and the service point is closed at weekends. You do not need to call or book in advance, so you can bring your console straight from work.

If your console fails only occasionally, write down before you come when it happens: after several hours of gaming, when launching a certain game or when connected to a TV.

What the technician does when you leave your console for diagnostics

The initial diagnostics cost 10 €. During it, the technician determines whether the problem is simple, for example clogged cooling or a worn port, or deep, for example the power circuit or a chip on the board.

After the inspection, you will hear what has failed and how much the repair will cost. We begin work only once you have agreed to the price. Original parts are used, and a warranty is provided for the work performed.

More complex faults, such as board or BGA chip repair, are handled by electronics technicians. If your console or controller needs a certificate for an insurance company, we can issue that as well.

When it is worth repairing and when simple cleaning is enough

A console that is loudly noisy or overheating often just needs cleaning and fresh thermal paste. This work starts from 30 €, so do not wait until overheating starts shutting down the game in the heat of the action.

A controller joystick that „drifts” by itself is repaired by replacing the analogue module, from 20 €.

No picture over HDMI does not always mean a faulty console. First try another cable and another TV input, and if that does not help, bring it to the service point.
