There are 3 main reasons to upgrade computers:
- When a new computer has been purchased and is not equipped efficiently or does not have the required functionality, it is possible to significantly improve the speed of the computer or adapt it to current needs for a relatively small cost.
Examples:
- There was too little RAM, which made the computer run too slowly.
- The hard disk was too small and fills up quickly, which slows down the work significantly.
- The CPU is poorly designed and gets hot and very slow.
- The mobile internet module was not installed, making it impossible to connect to the mobile internet even with a SIM card.
- A low-quality matrix has been assembled.
– The battery included was a very low capacity battery that can be replaced with a higher capacity battery. - Some time after the computer was new, certain components have been released that used to cost a lot more, but are now considerably cheaper and greatly improve the performance of the computer.
One of the most effective upgrades is replacing an old-style mechanical hard drive with a modern SSD. - Certain components of a computer wear out relatively quickly compared to other parts, which have virtually the same rate of wear.
The most common way to do this is to replace the battery. It can be replaced by one with the same or a higher capacity than the new one.
How to upgrade your computer
- Identifying what needs to be improved and why. For example, if it is too slow or lacks certain functionality.
- The foreman determines what is feasible and provides an estimate. Sometimes retrofitting may not be effective or alternative solutions are offered. The best option is sought. Conclusions are drawn.
- After the estimates and works are agreed, the upgrades are carried out: components are replaced, new ones are installed, and everything is configured and harmonised.
- You enjoy a computer that is even better than when it was new.
