manufacture differ. TomTom Carminat uses an SD card, Carminat Inform\u00e9e uses one or more CDs, CNC (Carminat 3) uses a DVD, and R-Link uses an SD card. That is why we first determine which system you have, and only then do we prepare the right map version.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here you will find which Renault systems we update, how to identify your version and what to bring. General information about systems of all brands can be found on the <a href=\"https:\/\/elmeistrai.lt\/en\/navigaciju-atnaujinimas\/\">navigation update page<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list em-quick\">\n<li><strong>How much does an update cost?<\/strong> The initial diagnostics cost 10 \u20ac. We will tell you the update price once we have identified the system and agree on it before the work \u2013 it depends on the version and the storage medium.<\/li>\n\n<li><strong>Do I need to book an appointment?<\/strong> No. Come to the service point in Vilnius, Kaunas or Klaip\u0117da during working hours, Mon\u2013Fri 9:00\u201318:00. Calling before you arrive is not necessary.<\/li>\n\n<li><strong>What should I bring?<\/strong> The old SD card or disc. If you do not have it, bring a new card that was briefly inserted into the car. We will read it.<\/li>\n\n<li><strong>Do you update all Renaults?<\/strong> Not all of them. We do not update Carminat Guidage Informe SH1 and SH3. You can find the list of other systems below.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"simptomai\">When Renault navigation maps are outdated<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The most common signs, and the reasons why people search for \u201crenault navigacija update\u201d or \u201crenault navigacijos atnaujinimas\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"em-symptoms\"><article class=\"em-symptom\"><p class=\"em-symptom__n\">01<\/p><h3 class=\"em-symptom__title\">The navigation doesn&#8217;t know about new roads and roundabouts<\/h3><p class=\"em-symptom__why\"><span class=\"em-symptom__k\">Why<\/span>The map version is old, and roads in Lithuania are changing constantly, so new sections may be missing from the system.<\/p><p class=\"em-symptom__diy\"><span class=\"em-symptom__k\">Check it yourself<\/span>Check when the car was released and which system is installed in it (TomTom, Carminat, R-Link).<\/p><p class=\"em-symptom__fix\"><span class=\"em-symptom__k\">What we do<\/span>We identify your version and install the latest maps of Lithuania and Europe.<\/p><\/article><article class=\"em-symptom\"><p class=\"em-symptom__n\">02<span class=\"em-symptom__price\">10 \u20ac<\/span><\/p><h3 class=\"em-symptom__title\">Renault navigation does not turn on without a card<\/h3><p class=\"em-symptom__why\"><span class=\"em-symptom__k\">Why<\/span>TomTom Carminat maps are stored on an SD card. If the card is missing, damaged or inserted incorrectly, the system does not turn on.<\/p><p class=\"em-symptom__diy\"><span class=\"em-symptom__k\">Check it yourself<\/span>Remove the card and insert it again with the engine off. Do not try to format the card \u2013 you will lose the map files.<\/p><p class=\"em-symptom__fix\"><span class=\"em-symptom__k\">What we do<\/span>We read the card, or any card that was inserted into the car, and determine the version. 10 \u20ac is the initial diagnostics; the update price is separate.<\/p><\/article><article class=\"em-symptom\"><p class=\"em-symptom__n\">03<\/p><h3 class=\"em-symptom__title\">I don&#8217;t know whether my navigation is Live or not Live<\/h3><p class=\"em-symptom__why\"><span class=\"em-symptom__k\">Why<\/span>These systems look almost identical from the outside, while the map sets differ somewhat. The update price depends on the version.<\/p><p class=\"em-symptom__diy\"><span class=\"em-symptom__k\">Check it yourself<\/span>On an old TomTom system, press and hold Info and the right joystick button \u2013 the screen will show the Navcore version. 9.844 indicates Live, 8.84x \u2013 not Live.<\/p><p class=\"em-symptom__fix\"><span class=\"em-symptom__k\">What we do<\/span>We determine the version by the car&#8217;s year or from the card.<\/p><\/article><article class=\"em-symptom\"><p class=\"em-symptom__n\">04<span class=\"em-symptom__price\">10 \u20ac<\/span><\/p><h3 class=\"em-symptom__title\">Navigation in a Renault Captur, Clio, Kadjar or Talisman \u2013 can it be updated?<\/h3><p class=\"em-symptom__why\"><span class=\"em-symptom__k\">Why<\/span>It depends on the system, not on the model name. Our list includes R-Link with an SD card for 2014\u20132016 cars.<\/p><p class=\"em-symptom__diy\"><span class=\"em-symptom__k\">Check it yourself<\/span>See whether the centre console has R-Link and whether there is an SD card slot.<\/p><p class=\"em-symptom__fix\"><span class=\"em-symptom__k\">What we do<\/span>We check your system and tell you whether we can update it. 10 \u20ac is for the initial diagnostics only.<\/p><\/article><article class=\"em-symptom\"><p class=\"em-symptom__n\">05<span class=\"em-symptom__price\">10 \u20ac<\/span><\/p><h3 class=\"em-symptom__title\">Carminat Inform\u00e9e does not read the disc<\/h3><p class=\"em-symptom__why\"><span class=\"em-symptom__k\">Why<\/span>Most often it is a scratched CD or DVD, or a worn-out reader. Sometimes the disc does not match the car&#8217;s year.<\/p><p class=\"em-symptom__diy\"><span class=\"em-symptom__k\">Check it yourself<\/span>Inspect the disc for scratches. It needs the right map set and identification.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"kurias-renault-sistemas-atnaujiname\">Which Renault systems we update<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">TomTom Carminat with an SD card is intended for Renault cars from 2009 to mid-2011. There is a 2 GB version for Eastern Europe and Lithuania and a 4 GB version for all of Europe. Carminat Live (from mid-2011) uses a 4 GB card. We update TomTom R-Link for 2014\u20132016 cars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Carminat Inform\u00e9e 1 CD is intended, for example, for the Clio, Laguna, Megane or Espace up to 2006, while Inform\u00e9e 2 CD is for some Espace, Laguna, Megane, Koleos, Master and Trafic models from 2006. CNC (Carminat 3) uses a DVD and is identified by year of manufacture.
