car. Peugeot has used different systems \u2013 from CD discs to SD cards and touchscreens \u2013 so the maps are different for each of them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Below you will find which systems and models we update. For general information about navigation systems of all brands, see the <a href=\"https:\/\/elmeistrai.lt\/en\/navigaciju-atnaujinimas\/\">navigation update page<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list em-quick\">\n<li><strong>How much does the update cost?<\/strong> We tell you the update price after checking the system and agree on it before starting work. The initial diagnostics cost 10 \u20ac.<\/li>\n\n<li><strong>Do I need to book an appointment?<\/strong> No. There is no need to call in advance \u2013 come to any service point on weekdays 9:00\u201318:00.<\/li>\n\n<li><strong>What warranty is provided?<\/strong> Peugeot map updates come with a 1-year warranty.<\/li>\n\n<li><strong>What should you bring?<\/strong> The car model and year, and the SD card or disc, if you have one. For WIP Nav+ systems, the VIN number is required to prepare the maps.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"simptomai\">How to tell that your Peugeot map is out of date<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">An outdated map is most often revealed by a few signs. Here is what drivers notice first.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"em-symptoms\"><article class=\"em-symptom\"><p class=\"em-symptom__n\">01<\/p><h3 class=\"em-symptom__title\">The navigation shows that I&#8217;m driving across a field<\/h3><p class=\"em-symptom__why\"><span class=\"em-symptom__k\">Why<\/span>New roads, roundabouts and intersections are simply not recorded on the map. This is not a GPS error, but an old map set.<\/p><p class=\"em-symptom__diy\"><span class=\"em-symptom__k\">Check it yourself<\/span>In the system menu, check the map version and year.<\/p><p class=\"em-symptom__fix\"><span class=\"em-symptom__k\">What we do<\/span>We install the latest detailed map set of Lithuania and the Europe map set on your system.<\/p><\/article><article class=\"em-symptom\"><p class=\"em-symptom__n\">02<\/p><h3 class=\"em-symptom__title\">The free navigation update fails<\/h3><p class=\"em-symptom__why\"><span class=\"em-symptom__k\">Why<\/span>Maps are prepared for a specific system and storage medium, and for WIP Nav+ systems they require the car&#8217;s VIN number.<\/p><p class=\"em-symptom__fix\"><span class=\"em-symptom__k\">What we do<\/span>We prepare the maps for your car and write them to an SD card or disc.<\/p><\/article><article class=\"em-symptom\"><p class=\"em-symptom__n\">03<\/p><h3 class=\"em-symptom__title\">The system does not read the navigation disc<\/h3><p class=\"em-symptom__why\"><span class=\"em-symptom__k\">Why<\/span>Most often it is a worn disc or incompatible software.
